Friday night

Hey everyone- The Morton clan will once again be out this Friday. It is the flashlight Easter egg hunt at church. I think that takes out all of us with kids or jobs in the kids dept. We will be back in the swing next week, I think. We miss you all- don't kick us out! Too many commitments lately

Hi All,

As I mentioned before, I feel really bad about missing last weekend! However, we were able to spend some time with my grandparents before the pacemaker surgery and their two week trip to Tokyo in April to visit my uncle and his family, so it was nice. While we were there, we did chores and helped them with a "laundry list" of things that needed to be done around the property. This is where my post leads. If these pictures work, you can all see that my granddaddy assigned a job to Jake that he felt was truly befitting of his personality. This was not my doing, I only followed behind him, panicking and acting like "psycho mommy". To all of you, here's hoping that one day you, too, can all experience the joy of not passing out while your child does something that they think is absolutely "the funnest thing in the world".

We're salvaging these fleeting days of freedom. Small group next week? Figured not much going on this week, but I had to make a statement: It's better to burn out than fade away.

Friday - here before you know it

Hey guys. Are we meeting tomorrow? Everyone is welcome at the Reeves, but if someone else was wanting to host or if no one is interested in meeting, we won't be offended. I just didn't want to get to far into tonight without knowing the plan.

I think this is our "social" week. We thought we'd have everyone who wants to come over and hang out, then at 9:00 (for the night owls) we can watch what we hope to be an excellent college basketball game (Ole Miss v. TN or LSU).

Directions for the Yates

Ok, I think that the Morton's know how to get there. So, Yates, I assume that you will be coming from Nonconnah or Poplar. Here is the way:

Go south on Byhalia from Poplar (Turn left on Byhalia off of Poplar, or go straight down and pass over Poplar from the Byhalia exit on Nonconnah)

Go down Byhalia and turn right on Powell road (just like going to the Kelleys')

Turn left on Barbara Lynn (3rd street)

Address 884 Barbara Lynn (on right hand side of street)
