I received second hand information that I got the job. I believe it to be reliable and on the level, I just have yet to get the "official" call. We at the Morton house are stoked! Now I can fly my friends to the Super Bowl like a man!

job/pray

I had an interview last week for a position with a rock solid awesome company that would pay me enough to feel ok with walking away from a family business that I helped build. Please pray for me, it is God's will that I get it or that I don't, I am praying that I do. Thank you guys for being my friends.

Christmas festivities anyone?

How about we get together this Friday night and celebrate the holiday season. We could do an ornament swap like last year and/or white elephant gift. Again, we are still not able to host. Any takers? WE could all bring food.

Gumboots

I was having this discussion in a taxi heading downtown, rearranging my position on this friend of mine who had a little bit of a breakdown. I said breakdowns come and breakdowns go, so what are you going to do about it that's what I'd like to know.
It was in the early morning hours when I fell into a phone call. Believing I had supernatural powers I slammed into a brick wall. I said hey, is this my problem?
Is this my fault? If that's the way it's going to be I'm going to call the whole thing to a halt.
I was walking down the street when I thought I heard this voice say "Say, ain't we walking down the same street together on the very same day."
I said "Hey Senorita that's astute"
I said"Why don't we get together and call ourselves an institute?"
