William's Surgery
Okay guys, new prayer request. William is to have surgery on his hand tomorrow, Friday morning. He might be a tad nervous about it too, so please keep him and the family in your prayers throughout the day and next week. Also, Trish is keeping the kids tomorrow, so throw an extra shout out for the kids' patience as well as Trish's! Hope to see you guys on Saturday morning :)

Hey everyone, things went well this morning. William had to go in at 6 this morning, so I met them at their house at 5:30. They were both up and ready to go, and William seemed to be in good spirits. He was even unloading the dishwasher one handed! In regards to the surgery, he came through like a trooper and just has a lot of recovery ahead of him. The surgeons had to repair one tendon and one nerve on his middle finger, and two tendons, two nerves, and an artery on his ring finger. He was a little loopy when he got home and in a lot of pain! So just pray for a better recovery. The doctors did tell them that it would probably be at least 3 months before William's hand will be back to near normal. So, continue to pray for William and his family during this time. I didn't really get to talk to him very much when he got back. He ate some Macaroni and Cheese (can't have anything spicy right now) and then went to bed. But, I know that he and Angie were both wiped out.
The kids are doing well, and they seem happy as always. Josh dropped Jacob off on his way to work, so the kids could kind of keep each other occupied so that I could help with some wash and getting them fed. I wasn't able to get a lot done by myself with the 4 kids--Angie YOU ROCK! Everything went well, until they started arguing about riding toys and who's turn it was on the Slip and Slide. There were a few tears spilled over small bumps and bruises (Jake and Elliotte) and turns with different toys. But, all in all it was OK.
Just continue to pray for the family, and let's be there for them in the months ahead and help them sell the house!
