Hey all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we are ok. We are personally not affected, but the town is a mess. We live in Marion which is next to Cedar Rapids. CR was hit really hard. Most of downtown was under water. My aunt and uncle's house was flooded. They have not been able to go back in it to assess the damage. One of the big issues was drinking water. I think it is starting to get under control. Now it is time to clean up. Hopefully Ryan and I can be useful in this process.

I am so glad!!! I tried to call, but of course your number no longer works :-) I was also in contact with Maggie and know that your SES friends were worried. I couldn't figure out how close to Cedar Rapids you guys were. Sorry about your aunt and uncle's house. I'll be praying for them. Mel said that on the news, she saw a couple praying outside of a hospital that she swore could have been you and Ryan. Stay safe and keep us updated!!!!!
